Finally, Adobe is launching a new education/education channel called Adobe Education, a new channel that includes content, courses and a channel-marketing program geared toward educators. At MAX, Adobe is launching three new courses, and will be adding new courses in the channel over the next several months.
Previously added to the Creative Cloud, Photoshop is now available as the stand-alone desktop application on the Adobe store. Photography is available without the subscription or Creative Cloud service.
Also at the MAX conference, Adobe announced a strategic partnership with hardware company Razer to bring Photoshop collaboration to its Black tent and Razer laptops. As part of this partnership, Razer will be demoing the Photoshop collaboration app at MAX for attendees.
The MAX conference kicks off May 31-June 3 in Las Vegas and is expected to attract more than 25,000 attendees. Adobe is also delivering the keynote on June 2 at 4:30 p.m. PDT with David Fincher, director of “The Game” and “Bridge of Spies.” Sessions will be held across the four days, including the Photography Master Class.
